MIFTAH’s pop-up Picture of the Day, where a picture tells a thousand words, has become a very popular section with our visitors and readers. This archive contains selected pictures and their captions (unedited) from various news agencies and media sources. The intention of having this section on MIFTAH.org is primarily to reflect the daily life of Palestinians under Israeli occupation; it is also a platform that offers a photographic narrative of current political affairs, developments, and other aspects of life for the Palestinian people.

Interpol has issued arrest notices for 11 suspects in the killing of a top Hamas commander, Mahmud al-Mabhuh, last month.
