Since the recent Intifada (Uprising) began in September 2000, the Israeli occupation forces have carried out 78 assassination operations (extra-judicial killings).

These operations have lead to the death of 134 Palestinians.

93 Palestinians were specifically 'targeted' persons.

41 Palestinians were innocent bystanders.

Among the innocent bystanders, 11 were children.

With regards to gender, 10 females were among the bystanders of which 6 were young girls.

Moreover, these operations have injured 126 Palestinians.

109 Palestinians injured were bystanders.

17 Palestinians injured were specifically 'targeted'.

Beyond the physical injuries and loss of life, extensive damage has been caused to several civil buildings as well as private property.
